Glad to hear that, Matt! ~ma, sj. Sorry about the positive, msbelle.
Yikes on the law, Gud. I just don't even know any more, it seems like anything could happen.
Weird on the big empty space, JenP!
Being in the office is pretty nice, there are 2 other people here (that I have seen, in the office section of the building, I know the warehouse is active but they are all on the other side of doors from me) so the motion sensors are not turning the lights off on me all the time but I don't have a lot of ambient noise to put up with - not that that bothers me a whole lot, really, but it can be awkward when I am on Zoom and everyone can hear my cube neighbor's phone conversation...
My PCP does not prescribe my ADHD meds to anyone over 40. So I either have to deal with the asshat prescriber I currently have or find a new one.
screams with rage
Um, what? That's bizarre. I'm so sorry, sj. ADHD meds are so hard to (a) get right (that is to say, effective) and (b) get access to, it's so frustrating!
Speaking of social media, maybe Elon Musk won't be buying Twitter, citing the number of fake accounts.

ION, what are people doing this weekend? I'm planning on spending most of my time making fake Twitter accounts.
I guess because of heart concerns, which I understand, but I don't have any risk factors for that except for my weight, and my meds are actually helping me control that better.
That is a better reason than anything I could come up with, but still it seems like monitoring and managing would be a better way to handle it than an arbitrary age cutoff. Although if you had a good meds manager I can also see the PCP wanting anything complicated enough to requiring monitoring to be handled by the meds manager. In general, ugh.

Fun! Also, what a mess that whole business has become. I deleted my accounts when he said he was buying it, although I really never used them.
I'm sorry, sj. Is getting another PCP a reasonable option?
Grr. The Walgreen’s pharmacist won’t do my Covid booster and second shingles back at the same time. “Too much for your system”.
I had them together last time, the recommendations are that the can be done together, and that line is so close to woo that it makes me instantly suspicious even though I typically consider pharmacists as solid sources of guidance.
