Our wings are not tired.

Yay trains! Stay safe.

Boo, positive. I'm sorry.

Too many people I know coming up positive. DH just took a home test because he was feeling crappy and is around HS kids all the time. Negative, so just normal feeling crappy.

Coding and Sleeping

Sorry about the positive result.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I know so many people coming up positive recently. Be careful out there folks! Really wishing I didn’t have to go to LA next week.

(Although I guess on that note, hi! I’ll be in LA next week. Work, but I’m staying over Friday night with no current plans other than a nice dinner on a patio somewhere. Downtown though.)

Thrive to spite them

Sheryl I hope that y'all can get some rest and some better options for Mr S.

Gud I shouldn't be surprised but I always am when the GOP will in one breath argue for businesses to do what they want and free market blah blah and in the next do anything they can to restrict businesses and control what they can and can't do.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I don't think it will really go anywhere, but these days you never know. If it does go somewhere, I think we'd want to make the board private to avoid liability.

We're practically private anyway, so I'd be ok with that.

Sorry about the positive result, msbelle. I hope you have a mild case.

JenP - May 13, 2022 7:43:56 am PDT #15107 of 30000

Oh, geez, mbelle, sorry. May it be short-lived and mild.

(Yes, I have my mask on. I'd say most don't, but maybe 40% do?)

Thinking of you all, Sheryl.

100% behind what you think best, Gud.

-t, they used to have low, big, square (oh, huh, they were rectangular. Mandela Effect!) bench like things (no backs). Now it's just a big empty space. I... guess they didn't like people sitting in the main hall? I don't know. It's colder in the seating by the train access doors, so I lamented their absence in particular today...

Punishingly Intricate

Oh, boo, msbelle!!

meara - May 13, 2022 8:17:03 am PDT #15109 of 30000

Boo covid positives!! Crossing my fingers I don’t, I’ve been eating and drinking indoors lately. I was glad last night at the symphony that they arlequines vaccination and masking still! I guess because the wind instruments can’t mask and their patrons are on the elderly side….it was science fiction movie music? A lot of creeeeeepy sounds, single violin plaintively whining and big deep sounds coming for you sort of rumbling Jaws-esque. A bit repetitive in the end.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Sorry you caught the plague, msbelle! Hopefully your symptoms will be mild. I'm just waiting for a variant you can catch by reading its name.

I had my first meeting with my new psychiatrist yesterday. (My former one retired, likely in reaction to his wife's death.) It went well, he made a really good first impression. He seems both very competent (amended my diagnosis regarding anxiety based on our interview, explained a number of things about how the meds work) and friendly/approachable.

That's great, Matt - those transitions are anxiety inducing in and of themselves sometimes.
