Happy belated birthday Karl.

Congrats JenP and soon to be DH.

I'm staying at Mom's through Monday so I can spend Mother's day with her . Her eye surgery went really well and she's healing up.

There was a pop up vintage/handmade market in town so I went. Mom drove me. I bought some things and walked around downtown some. But got really fuzzy headed and brain foggy from bending over to look at things , walking and talking to people. Not all at once...just cumulative.

This led to a long nap.

The coordinator of the pop up market sells a lot of ephemera and kits for junk journaling mostly at her booths at a shop elsewhere. But we got to talking and I showed her some stuff I have done and she really liked it and was talking about pricing for things like that..mostly the little embellishments I've made. Which kind of floored me. And she asked if I had Instagram.

I've gotten compliments on my style or things I've done but this hit differently.

Actually this past week and weekend has been full of some self discovery. One thing I've been doing is thinking about the computer/craft room and how I really need to organize my stuff . I had been thinking in terms of organizing in a somewhat temporary way or that will work with what I have and I finally admitted to myself I want to create a crafting space that I want...not just try to piecemeal together things because that will be enough.

I refueled my car at a new gas station on my way home this afternoon. So far, I'm getting my best mpg ever! [link]

DP and I are going to make him a DH! "Sneaking" off to get married in the next month or so,

Papa’s funeral was today. I continue to alternate between lots of crying and feeling numb. It was a very long day and after we dropped off ltc for a pizza and movie night at her karate studio and went home and watched a movie. TCG is picking her up now.
