DP's surgery went well, and surgeon was actually optimistic that the growth was perhaps not invasive... which would mean no medical oncology follow-up. Pathology won't come back until next week, but I was very pleasantly surprised that he even said anything like that at all -- they're usually pretty conservative. So, I continue to send (and ask for) good vibes for best possible outcomes.
Fingers crossed for DP.

ION, my colonoscopy is this Friday. I'm in "Phase 1" of the colonoscopy prep diet - 1 week out, low fiber, no popcorn, nuts, or seeds. I have never craved popcorn or peanuts so much in my life.

And I'm still trying to do "Meatless Mondays" when I can, so I checked the nearby vegan restaurant's menu, thinking I might treat myself to takeout for dinner. Then I see they're closed Mondays. How does that happen, when Meatless Monday is still a thing?
