Many thanks.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

Hooray pancreas of no great concern!
Confession: I'm not totally clear on what exactly a pancreas does. But I'm very glad your fella's is concern-free and able to keep doing... whatever it is they do.
The pancreas can be a real jerk. My pancreas is what put me in the hospital for a month and almost killed me.
It produces insulin and other digestive enzymes and if things go haywire with the pancreas it's not good.
Yikes! I remembered your awful hospital stay but not that it was your pancreas that put you there.
It was acute necrotizing pancreatitis. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
I'm glad further imaging is producing relatively good results, JenP.
ND, I'm so so glad you made it through. Necrotizing anything is a terrifying thing to have to fight off.
Pancreatitis was what put my mom in the hospital a few years back, too. When a woman who used to get 3-day blackout shades migraines tells you it's the worst pain she's ever felt, it's bad.
acute necrotizing
Two words that are never good news. Yikes indeed!
