ND, I'm so so glad you made it through. Necrotizing anything is a terrifying thing to have to fight off.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Pancreatitis was what put my mom in the hospital a few years back, too. When a woman who used to get 3-day blackout shades migraines tells you it's the worst pain she's ever felt, it's bad.
acute necrotizing
Two words that are never good news. Yikes indeed!
Really glad you got past that, Drew
I think my legs are sore from looking at pictures a college friend posted to FB of his running the Boston marathon
I just had a first date (tinder) for the first time in probably….a year and a half??? It went surprisingly well. Not sure Id be into her romantically but had a good time talking with her

Is Tinder for talking now?
Yay for healthy pancreases.. pancrei??
We are headed up to my dentist appointment (and to see Mom) we stopped to get gas and M made some remark about the gas pumps sometimes not working/being out and tbe guy also getting gas made a comment about it being Biden's fault. M shoots back "no man Biden didn't start start war " and I didn't catch the rest but the then I hear M say "just be glad it's not Trump ...." And then just rails on how Trump would be pro Russia and want a wall built and I heard the words Nazi Germany and I was just sitting in the cat thinking....that guy probably loves Trump.
When M got in the car I told him that and M was just "I don't care ". I was a little worried about how the guy would react but M wasn't. I don't think the guy was expecting a dude who is kind of redneck looking to bash Trump so hard. (M was looking more redneck/country today)
Hooray pancreas of no great concern!
This is a true blessing!-
Sigh. I made sure I got in early today because I had a meeting scheduled for my regular start time, but it's cancelled. It's nice to have the time back, but it's annoying to have had no notice at all and kind of worrying that our VP does not feel the need to reschedule our monthly meeting, he'll just "talk to us next occurence" - we have a lot of stuff going on that I would have thought h would want to talk to us about! Oh well, there will be all new and different stuff in May.
That kind of thing makes me nervous, askye. Seeing anyone with a red hat makes me super cautious. Glad it went ok.
