Of possible interest to meara and megan walker, I'm sitting in the Leavey Center (eating a salad while I wait for a test to be done at the hospital for DP) -- I cannot fathom that this is the same place I remember... vaguely, honestly, but still. So weird. My memories of Healey Basement are much more vivid, but still.

Teacup is headed to my in-laws for two nights. I was hoping they'd get here early enough that I could go see Papa while Mom was still there, but no such luck. He's sleeping much more lately, and he's pretty much settled in for the evening when Mom leaves. So, I'l head up early tomorrow and spend the day there. TCG has meetings tonight and tomorrow night. So, I'll have the health to myself. It might be a good time to watch Bridgerton S2.

In good news, no especially concerning findings on the ultrasound endoscopy WRT the pancreas. So far colon seems to be the container. Won't really know anything until post surgery biopsy.

Confession: I'm not totally clear on what exactly a pancreas does. But I'm very glad your fella's is concern-free and able to keep doing... whatever it is they do.

The pancreas can be a real jerk. My pancreas is what put me in the hospital for a month and almost killed me.

It produces insulin and other digestive enzymes and if things go haywire with the pancreas it's not good.
