Yay Pupper! Enjoy! I took my very large pupper to the dog park By Myself today! Park opens at 7 so I was there a bit before then but gates were already open. Seems to be a regular crowd there at that hour daily as the people all seemed to know each other's dogs names. Skinner had a nice half hour running around with his new pals. He was a Very Good Boy and sat for me and didn't pull me around going in and out of the enclosed area so all was good. We shall make it a habit since I need to move around myself.

Moved the cats from SIL's to MIL's house because of reasons and they seem happy to have more room to roam. They snuggled with SIL and family, and snuggle with MIL, but run and hide when I come in so apparently they are still pissed.

Did thousands of bucks worth of inspections on the boat and need to go back to the seller and see if we can come to a mutually acceptable price. A lot of it is market issues, but bottom line is we wouldn't be able to get it insured above a certain price level and hurricanes happen so it would be dumb to pay more than that. I also told Brendon that it would be super dumb to pay all that for inspections then not listen to the expert advice. So we'll see, probably tomorrow how all that goes.

Most importantly, Otter Lake and vicinity make a very big deal out of the 4th of July every year with silly boat parades and all the neighbors doing fireworks and such and it is kind of essential to dress appropriately for the occasion. Since my outfit from last year is way too big now I simply had to get a new one, so this skort just arrived. [link]

I am drowning in work—a new project is demanding way more of my time than it’s supposed to, I’m behind on my other projects, and the person in charge of the new one is out for this week AND next week and left me as her backup and I just want to reply all to the millions of emails that I don’t know and they should figure it out their damn selves. I already told her boss that I was “about to lose my god damn mind” so…and she’d only been out a day and a half at that point. Aaaack

My dentist joked last time that he was going to start calling me "Jaws" (from Dr, No) because of how strong my bite seems to be. I seem to be the only person that is having this issue.... I think it's a combination of a strong bite, that my jaw tends to shift around a bit when I'm stressed so I often am placing pressure in different places, and having jagged teeth. I think this time I managed to flip a piece of the triscuit on end and bit down harder than I meant to and it snapped. Or something.

but it's snapped at the connection between the crowns- or at least it broke and I was able to wiggle it free and that was where it had broken off. Which is different from last time.

I just refuse to let them think they own the flag. It is horrible that you have to look askance at anyone who displays a flag. I do the same thing too. But my Otter Lake peeps have always gone nuts on the 4th, or really any reason to party, and I won't let them take it away from me!

It seems to me that a bridge should handle a strong bite. I hope he comes up with a better solution than eating pudding.

Question: Have any of y'all had experience with ozone treatments for eliminating odors in a home? Or opinions about the efficacy of same?

After spending 6 weeks on the move, trying to avoid going back to the toxic apartment, I finally got the offer from the building. They'll pay for the ozone machine, or I can get out by the end of the month and pay 6k+ to break the lease. This is actually a deal, apparently, as they could otherwise charge me upwards of 15K...which does not include the expense of moving into a new place.

It seems worth giving something that might reduce the VOCs a try. Especially when an ozone machine would, at max, cost $300.

Paying someone to do it would cost around $3100, so I need some orientation on how to diy it safely.

Please, God. Let something work out right in this situation!
