Oh Epic, sending an abundance of love and ~ma. Please keep us updated.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Oh Epic, best thoughts to you!!
Prayers in abundance, Epic.
Oh, Epic, keeping you in my thoughts!
I hope it goes easy and that you’ve got folks helping you with everything local??
Me too. And yes, my local friends are being awesome.
And I was nodding along at the need for single Buffistae (esp those of us without other local b.org peeps) to make contacts available on our local "people to notify in case of..." lists.
Timelies all!
Lots of ~ma and hugs to you, Epic.
Oh wow Epic. All the fingers crossed.
And bkt I’m so sorry this is happening. I really hope things smooth out. Thank you and JenP for being there for Todd.
Honestly, the biggest thing I learned for College Writing was to shove my paragraphs together. I wasn't actually writing any more complex thoughts! But it looked more like College Writing, so OK.
And do the opposite in all the actual business writing!
Oh, Epic and Toddson: please be kind to yourselves, and may your bodies bounce back quickly. Sheryl, I hope you recover quickly.
Hec, that rug is stunning. So lovely. I'm really enjoying your very intentional decoration/design stories. My house is a potpourri of Ikea, old family pieces, and grad-school-era leftovers.
I've heard so many Covid stories lately: this thing ain't going away. I'm just about the only person still masking in my office.
Speaking of work: I have 4-6 hours of meetings most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It's fucking exhausting, and I can't get any actual work done those days. Today was fab: I was home, in my sweatpants, with no meetings, and I actually got a few things checked off my to-do list. And they gave us 2 hours off for the holiday weekend, yay.
Going to bed soon: I have to be up at the crack of dawn to take the dog to the Central Valley for what is likely to be her final agility trial: she's 9 and we are not actually getting better at this. So I'm probably going to retire her soon. Anyway it's going to be cold and rainy and I'm not really looking forward to it...
Today is a day to make some noise! It is our very own NoiseDesign's birthday! I hope you are having a wonderful day and that the year to come is filled with joy and love.
Lots and lots of health~ma to Epic and Toddson both. I hope things go as smoothly as possible for both of you.
