Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Smooth travels, flea, and enjoy the family time. And new baby!
Step and -t with the industriousness. I shall think of you both and try to keep my commitment to deforesting the living room.
Cash, thay sounds super fun. Also, your pediatrician is awesome.
Belly ~ma for your SO, JenP!
I'm not being unreasonable, right?
I don't think so. I'd object on principle but I'd also fail mandatory drug testing. I've heard other folks talk about not being able to get meds from their psych because they might want to have an edible when it's legal in their state.
Who's got weekend plans?
Man, what the hell AM I doing this weekend? Other than laundry and going to the salon tomorrow afternoon for a haircut, so I guess I need to figure out what I want my stylist to do.
I'm jealous but happy to hear about all the boosters. I very reluctantly have started back at the office 3 days a week (thanks, I hate it) and I've already received an exposure notification from my first day in office, so I expect I'll be getting one of those every time I'm in the building. I'm still masking although most people aren't, but I can't go all day without eating or drinking and there isn't enough outdoors seating. Although the view of the Ferry Building and Bay Bridge is pretty great.
No gardening here because it is freaking sleeting. No! Bad!
Are they testing for overuse or to confirm if people are actually taking the meds vs selling them? Either way, I think you’re totally reasonably objecting.
Your trivia is back! I am vicariously thrilled and [what is the opposite of vicariously anyway?] impressed.
Are they testing for overuse or to confirm if people are actually taking the meds vs selling them?
Overuse, I think, but maybe both. They don't want you using two different benzos or using benzos and opiods simultaneously.

Yeah, I don't know if they plan to test for other stuff. What I'm curious about is if they'll try to get me in for a test, even though I haven't filled a clonazepam prescription in a while. Also curious if it turns out a lot of psych offices are doing this now.
Cashmere, if you want a vaping horror story, I know this guy: [link]
Best thoughts to your SO, Jen!
My weekend plans include taxes as well, possibly seeing Everything Everywhere All At Once, the usual Sunday of church + band + dinner with mother.

Yeah, these are the stories I tell the kids. We are rare users—definitely not daily. Robin doesn’t vape and Oliver has only tried a few times. I prefer smoking because I really just prefer the quick acting, shorter effect.
shrift, I'm glad you're not commuting down to Mtn View anymore. And yeah, that view was one of the best things about working at Mozilla and coming into the office once or twice a week or so.

I'd assumed that it was making sure that if you were filling a script, that you were using it and not selling it.
Oof, so I'm having regular "getting older pain" in my right shoulder these days (getting PT for it), so I got the Moderna booster in my left arm yesterday, and it hurts about 5x more than any of the Pfizers did for me. Holy hell. Yay antibodies, but wow, I feel about 85 years old this morning. Wow.
I think all of my practices that prescribe any controlled substances do regular drug testing. To verify proper use both on the not taking and taking too much side of things. It is standard. They also report compliance with that objective for Medicare reporting, not the detail, just that it is being done.
Weekend. Being kind to my ouchy crown until I get to dentist on Monday. Work. Visiting my sister tomorrow before she heads back to NY break of dawn Monday. I hardly saw her this visit because of my disrupted schedule. Sea trial and survey done on boat Wednesday and Thursday and should be in it next weekend. Oh yeah, still have to sort through bins in storage.
