YAAAAAAY!!!!!

So, work did promote one of my teammates to be our supervisor, her first day in that role is today, and the first thing they are having her do is "socializing with us" (I hate this term) the idea that we are going to move to a different part of the office. Which is really just whatever, none of us much care where we sit, but we just changed desks while we are not in the office and now we are moving again after being in the office for two months and it all just seems very stupid and inefficient and I feel more and more like the end goal is to completely dissolve our team and I will end up with only the parts of the job I least enjoy or some completely different job that doesn't use my skills or unemployed.

I've been totally lurky lately and now here I am all mememe again. Sorry. I just had to vent somewhere. This is all very frustrating.

I work in the same building as the NLRB where this just happened !

I'm sorry ltc is sick, but I'm glad she likes school enough to regret missing it.

We're starting back up at the office on Monday, but just one day per week. Before it was only one day per week working from home, so it's definitely an improvement over what could have been.

I'm in crazy busy mode again, as usual, and my practices seem to not understand that Friday is supposed to be my slow day. So trying to fit other stuff in between that pesky have to work for a living stuff. Got delivery of truck for DH so now we have to return rental truck tonight. It is at least an hour each way to accomplish this task. Took the dog to the groomer, which was only 1 mile away so that was very cool. Just doing too many things at once. Tomorrow I'll drive cross state to visit with the sibs since my NY sister is down.

I’m v grateful to the friend who iTool me to the airport today! And then my (rescheduled) plane boarded and then was 40 minutes late taking off…seems like we will make up a bit of time in air but still not good for my one hour connection time. Really hoping to not get stuck in Nashville nor have my bag stuck!! I planned to check and then many flights had been canceled and the airport was a mess so I ended up gate-checking, which I’m always skeptical of. But knew by the time I got on this plane there wouldn’t be overhead space.

Cereal: I am typing this on the plane which still seems fancy to me. I remember the days of air phones!

Great, now I'm congested and feeling kinda bleh. The fact that I've been waking up around 5 every morning this week doesn't help.
