oh, not as usual, dear ... something new and weird
A Nebraska state legislator is claiming that schoolchildren are actively furries (he uses scare quotes) - the kids are (according to him) dressing up as cats and dogs for school .,, and some are now demanding litter boxes. um ... huh?
Seriously, renovating, repairing, and maintaining a home unless you’re doing all of the work yourself? Is an ongoing pain that never really subsides entirely.
Alas, just as painful. This was the main reason I wanted a done boat and not a work in progress. After 12 years of Brendon renovating I am over it for a while. Of course, he is already plotting renovation projects for our friend's house where we are staying!
Loungy pants FTW!
For real! Excellent that you are getting your recovery environment in good order. It will make a real difference.
Yep, Laura and ND. As I speak I’ve got contractors here doing some last minute small repairs before I relist the house. The new house does have some things I want to change, but overall I’m moving into something that doesn’t need much.
Epic, lounge clothes are the best and I’m hoping that your experiences will be as smooth as my two bffs who had c word experiences in the last year. I wish you empathetic doctors and wildly effective treatments!
Well, there's certainly nothing sketchy about this contractor.
There was once a landscaper that was named Tex's Chainsaw Manicure.
and, if anyone's watching Bridgerton, the UK's National Gallery has a video on paintings that have inspired the costumes (sort of?)
I just realized that because I've been out of work I'm not getting things like my HSA contributions. So that kind of sucks. I mean it rolled over what I had and that is nice but..2 of my vyvanse prescriptions pretty much wipes out what I had. So no more HSA money .
Insurance is a pain. Our HR person left less than a year ago; right after I moved - TWO years ago, I asked her to update all my insurance info. So she had about a year; needless to say, she didn't. I found this out last December when there was an "adjustment" to our insurance plan that required a new insurance card ... which was sent to my old address and went back marked "forwarding order expired". This meant that when I tried to get my flu shot, I couldn't because I didn't have a valid insurance card ... and had the pharmacist telling me I had to get Part B, even though I kept telling him I wasn't on Medicare. Tried to update my address, but the numbers I had for the insurance company disconnected before the recording finished (except, for some reason, the sales department). There were no usable phone numbers, no way to use one of those online forms (you could fill out the form, but no way to send it to anyone) and, when the nice man in the sales department forwarded my call to someone - a real person - in the right department, she couldn't correct my address - only the plan administrator could change an address. I got her to contact the insurance company, update my address and have them send me a valid insurance card.
Then I got an email that my FSA card was also sent to the old address and returned. So I spent about three months with no valid insurance car and no FSA. jeepers
