I do think it is hilarious that anyone, including him, thinks he could decide how it should be pronounced when he is so very wrong.

In my heart of hearts he did it to screw with people. Like how I believe Dylan has been mumbling nonsensens for thirty years and laughing his butt off back stage. Or my fervent wish that Prince, a notorious control freak in life, left no will just to mess with everybody.

So, my dentist appointment got cancelled today. They are going to order the bridge since they already have the scans and I'll go back in 2 weeks. I barely slept last night. We went up to Mom's to spend the night for my 8 am appointment and I could hear mom snore and M snore and...I just coudln't sleep.

M and I ended up going to a local bakery and I got a Chocolate Chocolate chip Walnut scone. I don't care if it is an abomination of a scone it was delicious and not to sweet.

Then we came home and about 10 mins before we came home.. Scrappy got out. In his ill fitting recovery suit thing. He ran for the woods. I was going to return it and ordered a larger size but now I have to wait and see if he comes back. Or if he cuts ties with us completely because of the indignity. I'm worried he'll get snagged in some bushes in the little romper thing. So periodically since we've gotten back we've been walking around the back yard near the brambly area and calling his name/listening hoping to hear him meow.

I honestly have no opinion about how to pronounce gif. Maybe it should be pronounced with a hard g and a soft g g-jiff or g'jiff (if you are Gou'ald) just so it can be both ways.

I hope you find Scrappy soon, and I'm sorry you have to wait two weeks for a bridge.

I have to go measure the IKEA queen-sized bed frame we're trying to give away. DP decided he wanted to GLUE the headboard and footboard together when we first assembled it three years ago so it would, I dunno, be more sturdy?

Thank Jod I was there to stop him from then gluing the side panels to the head/foot boards, which he was about to do... "If you glue those, too, we'll never be able to get it out of the room, and then we'll be stuck here forever and ever." He saw my point.

Anyway, we can't fully break it down because of the aforementiined gluing, so I am measuring to see whether a potential taker can fit it into her van. I fear not, and I fear it'll end up in the dumpster, and that makes me sad. So wasteful. Maybe I should learn to be a carpenter, and make it into tables or something. Or find someone who just wants some wood to play with.

I have some bruises on the side of my right foot from where I banged it into a chair yesterday.(I was trying to get to the main light in the dark.) It's always something.
