This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Epic, I do hope that all the testing and the glayvin proves useful.

askye, this doctor sounds as if they're definitely taking the time to work through what you need, and I'm very happy to read that.

Laura, your sister is somewhere where people who know what they're doing can look after her, which is what she needs; you can be a little easier knowing that and get on with your packing, which is what you need. (Laura! You're moving onto a boat!)

JZ and have tickets to the legendary Oakland White Elephant Sale this Wednesday:

Ooooh, the Bainbridge Rotary Auction writ large! It is a wonder to me: every year, the grounds of the middle school are overrun with stuff, and every year it happens again.

Matt, honey, the quilt is lovely, but you have to find a place to store the bedding until you have something to put it on. I know this problem well: I love my current place, but I would joyfully lose the bar seating for three more cabinets in that space.

Our wings are not tired.

So very frustrating, Epic. I do hope you get some answers soon.

Oh and I have to work on my posture and eliminate stress.

Give up that caffeine, and dump the stress while you're at it. I love the eliminate stress advice. If only that were an easy one. I have managed pretty well on it by deliberate action, like taking extra time on back roads rather than driving on the highway. Cutting down on news consumption and FB, and that type of thing.

The posture isn't that easy a one either! I need to spend less time curved over my laptop and use the desktop computer which is at an appropriate height!

That reminds me! Matt, you do have to find a place for that fountain. Lovely.

So much stuff will be seen! We have to hone our search parameters to keep it tight. I'm sure there are several truckloads of stuff we would find appealing.

This sounds like so much fun!

Epic, I hope your tests help.

askye, I'm glad your appointment went well.

ltc bought books at the book fair today with her own money (mostly from grandparents). I'm so proud of her. At her age I would have lost that coin purse in minutes.

Ooh book fair. I always wanted so many books but could only get very few. But such excitement and longing!

The white elephant sale sounds awesome!

Oh and Epic that definitely doesn’t sound healthy or right and I hope you get some good answers ASAP!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gary has in-town meetings today through Wednesday. He has to be there early, so he arranged for the nanny to come at 7:30 to take Mr. S to school. What he failed to tell me was that I had to be there to wait for the nanny, which means I get to work a little late. Also, he set the alarm for 6, and Mr. S was up and being a wild child right when it went off.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I recently began wondering if I needed to replace my vacuum cleaner and reasonably concluded that perhaps I should try replacing the filter first, which led me to realize there were TWO filters and I'd only been cleaning one. Now I have a small stack of replacement filters and can confirm, to nobody's surprise, that the vacuum cleaner seems to be working a lot better now. How am I a grown adult person? Who authorized this?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's way too much shit to keep track of as a grown adult. I do not approve. Nor do I manage to keep track of it all.
