This is with the green and white floor or something else? I am sure you made that clear before but I have forgotten.
Something like that. Still musing, but yes the checkerboard linoleum/marmoleum tiles would be in the garden apartment, and we'd do something more Arts & Crafts in the 2nd floor flat.
I think I like the Retro Nostalgic Gray. Couldn't tell you why, but that's the one calling to me.
I need more opinions on those Formica laminate patterns, people!
I had to bookmark the post to look at the links later. Looking forward to the browsing!!
Maybe Retro Oxford pattern for the table. Maybe Retro Surf...
I like both those, and also rather fond of the Turquoise Glacier and Grey Cracked Ice.
Honestly, I would say that for the garden apartment, you've got a wonderful opportunity to do hunting for actual vintage tables, though the Formica on those is less spectacular. They're usually pretty damn solidly built.
And I hope you're spending a lot of time at Retro Renovation. [link]
Edit, I mean: [link]
I am so excited for David and JZ!
I've done that, so don't feel too bad. Luckily, earrings aren't an absolute necessity. I also once managed to put on a skirt SIDEWAYS (I went to put my hand in my pocket and it was in front, rather than the side. Kind of a marsupial effect.
I once managed to not put on a skirt. Like, I had a top and tights, and then put on my coat and went to work! Luckily I went to work at a costume shop so I found a skirt!
Ooo! Check out these switch plates! [link]
Maybe get yourself a nice SMEG [link]
And there's always the sexy stuff at Big Chill: [link]
Ooo, Elmira Stove Works... [link]
Cracked ice and retro malt are calling to me. Color dependent on everything else. Love the dinette set idea!
We are in the ER. DP may have kidney stone. Just got scan. No beds, so we're hanging in the waiting room.
