Baby steps, askye!
House was inspected for 2-1/2 hours today. New owner was here the whole time along with a number of various inspectors and realtors. He seemed very nice although I left after a few minutes. His last words on the way out to my realtor were 'what's the next step' and his realtor winked at mine, so I think all went very well. In theory he has until Saturday to back out, but realtor also said he was happy about the short timeline. Closing scheduled in 20 days!
eta: Finding a boat is easy enough, but finding dock space has been problematic so not sure where I am going yet.
Timelies all!
Mr. S woke up at 1 for some reason and couldn't or wouldn't go back to sleep. He also refused to be quiet, so nobody got much sleep. Of course, he was out of control this morning. (Apparently he calmed down once his meds kicked in.) Sigh...
Yea, but as excited as I am for Audie Cornish, I'm probably not going to start watching CNN. For example!
I did watch ER because Blake from Guiding Light (Sherry Stringfield) was a star. So maybe…. I am very loyal.
But did you watch Under the Dome for her?? (I just looked at IMDB to see if she is still working.)
Very loyal and blindly loyal are different things.
Dag, the world's got me down. Putin is going full Aleppo on the Ukraine.
But
we are lining up all of our escrow transactions so everything is ready on March 8th.
And
I do find it amusing that Roger Stone had a Danish documentary team following him around for two years including on January 6th, where he's on top trying to skip town when shit goes sideways.

And yesterday's HONY was gutting but THEN had a satisfying ending. I kept checking it all day like I was waiting for a new Dickens chapter to drop.
Heh. Remember "Freedom Fries"?
A Quebecois restaurant just renamed poutine to «Frite Fromage Sauce» [link]
Huh. Apparently my brother has avoided being taken up by the immigration police for the past year and a bit (he was arrested for overstaying his visa last December) and has now got a job in Dallas. So he’ll be in the US for the first time in 18 years. I can’t wait to hear the culture shock. (He’s crazy right wing and it has annoyed the crap out of me that he talked such shit despite….not actually living here??)
