David, when I said turret room, I thought I'd seen a couple of rooms that were curved/circular with windows around. And I think whatever room Matilda has, it should have a windowseat. One that has storage.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It SNOWED here! I am outraged. Mostly because I didn’t expect it and then I woke up and snow! I mean, half an inch if that. But it kept snowing! Rude!! It hailed last night right before bed, so somehow I didn’t expect snow?? Sweetly the guy at doggie daycare called to warn me that he knows sometimes I walk the dog over and be careful because it’s very slippery, which I thought was sweet (I usually drive over in the morning because I’m lazy and it’s uphill on the way home)
No fair on the unexpected snow, meara.
The lab says the test is on the machine, whatever the heck that means.
Finally broke my streak in the wordle archive. I am caring about this entirely too much.
Happy Birthday Laura!
It's this, in cobalt blue. I suppose it's not that much, but I'd want the induction stove from the same collection, and the bungalow extraction hood . . . .
Dag, those are some beautiful colors. I wouldn't mind the Signal Blue or the Moss Green.
Pretty!
So, my dad turned 80 last September, and we originally planned to get the family together for it but Delta happened and we pushed it out to this coming April and now with omicron we are pushing it out again to next August, which is fine, but now I have the dilemma of what to do about my PTO. I want to keep the days off I have scheduled for April, but adding the new days off in August means I will have to change something, either April or the later vacations I had scheduled for the High Holidays and Hannukah or the payout I kind of need to take in September to pretend my finances are not in dire shape. Decisions, bah.
Oh, hey, got my employee review back - met expectations (3.45/5 which is exceeding expectations a little in my view) which, honestly, has been my goal, so that's nice. Hopefully that will also mean a raise of some sort, don't know when we get that information.
Oh, hey, rain! Was not expecting that.
OMG, keeping myself moving on projects right now is like swimming upstream through maple syrup. I just need to knock things off my list and my motivation is just. not. there.
I love this smeg fridge in yellow or blue [link]
