7mm stone. Waiting to hear what’s next. She is asleep.
ER is scary place. We are in a hallway bed but the room right next to us has a Covid positive person (no symptoms) but doctor wears full hazmat stuff. She is here for a foot puncture from a shell on the beach and she has Flesh Eating Bacteria!!! They are doing all kinds of stuff to her.
Ugh. Being admitted. Surgery tomorrow. Worst part is her grandson and wife and her great granddaughter are arriving Monday and she has yet to meet the child. That was why I was here to help her clean and prep her house since she can’t really do much. She is too drugged right now to realize the timing.

Ultimately there's never a good time for a kidney stone. Stay away from that flesh eating bacteria!
Yikes, flesh eating bacteria is scary!
I made a cake tonight but it didn’t turn out great. Not sure who I can pawn it off on either, since I can’t eat the whole thing! Sadly the friend coming over for the super bowl is gluten free and the friend I’m taking a walk with had weight loss surgery! But I wanted to try this cake.
Health~ma to your sister, Laura,
Yayyyyyyyyy house! Congrats, David and JZ!
And a lot of happy belateds, Pix and Maria!
I'm back at her house. They didn't have a room at the hospital so she is in an ER room. At least in an actual room with lights out and not in the hall now. I left because I'll be good to no one if I try and stay in a hard seat straight back chair in the ER for the night. I'll go back in the morning. Hoping that since it is a laparoscopic type thing and they don't have rooms I can get her home before too long after surgery. I told her she now has to tolerate me watching the Superbowl in her hospital room if necessary!
Oh, geez, Laura. I'm glad for her sake you were there. Wishing her solid sleep and an early, quick, and very smooth procedure tomorrow. Good sleep for you, too.
Thanks Jen. Back at hospital. No schedule yet.
Hope you slept OK. How's she doing?
