I rejected my sister's invite to the mountains this weekend, because work is nuts and next week will be nutsier (because wedding), and my house is gross and I don't want to spend the weekend being a 3rd wheel and worrying about my dog peeing on the white carpet in the mountain cabin. (WHITE CARPET. Who puts white carpet in a mountain cabin?)
Anyway I hope I didn't hurt her feelings. But I'm cranky and stressed kind of all the time right now and need to be able to go away from people.
Just ran the dog in the woods (we were both very slow, ugh), and now I'm going to shower and then return something to Nordie's and go buy bourbon at TJs. And then clean my fucking house.

White carpet in mountain cabin is certainly an unusual choice.
The whole NFT thing seems like a classic economic bubble but even less based in reality. Like if we didn't actually have tulips but had to invent them just to have a bubble. And I don't even understand the energy ramifications, that is just bonkers. So I can understand someone on the artist end not wanting to miss out on potentially making a lot of money out of the whole mess, but still disappointing.
