And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

Our wings are not tired.

Yay monoclonal antibodies, and the wisdom to get them quick!

Woo hoo, Cape Cod! Blizzards not so great if you have to get to places, but can be a tasty treat.

I am pretty sure I never watched The O.C., but my list of things to watch is plenty long without it.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Also (especially David with your connection to Facebook Rio) did you guys see the Bennington College podcast about the time that Donna Tartt, Brent Easton Ellis and Jonathan Lethe were at college at the same time. It sounds like what it would be if I randomly made a podcast about the connections between TWOPers and showing up in podcasts, which is fascinating to me but sounds terrible. Like, it is fun to have a one line conversation about Linda Holmes with Jesse, but I don’t need a creative property about it.

Also, I don’t think you can watch the OC new now, but it was good, then bad, then in the last season did not give a shit and Ben McKenzie was hilarious as was the whole season.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think the podcast was initiated by the big Vanity Fair article on that same subject that came out a couple years ago. Her Bennington stories are pretty wild. She went "before the purge" - when a new college president forced out all the more radical professors and sex/drugs culture there.

Thrive to spite them

I have confirmed that non of M's siblings/in laws/nieces/nephews have been vaccinated. I don't know about his aunts or uncles but I'm thinking they aren't either. It's just M and his Mom and me.

And the three of us don't have our booster shots.

It's been 3 days since any of us were around any one who is infected or living with an infected person (and that was M's mom) so I'll be hyper aware of symptoms.

My mom just got home from Florida- FINALLY!!! She's been there since...Thanksgiving...no right after maybe. Too damn long. I want to see her but now I'm going to wait a while until we see if any of us get sick

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm in Cape Cod! They're forecasting a giant blizzard.

Welcome! You're just in time!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Definitely batten down the hatches, flea! Of course my coworker is going skiing in Vermont this weekend, where they will probably get no snow at all.

No posts in nearly 12 hours? Goodness.

I woke up about 40 minutes before my alarm today and made the rare decision to stay awake rather than go back to sleep. Anytime this happens I know if no I fall back asleep for 30 min or whatever I’ll feel more groggy when my alarm goes off, but 99% of the time that doesn’t stop me.

I think the day owes you an afternoon nap, now.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Ugh, today’s Covid test was positive. (Covid Strikes Back.) I feel fine, though. My throat might be a little scratchy, but I thought that was because it’s so cold and dry and the humidity is low. But if my scratchy throat is a Covid symptom, it’s the only one I have. Hopefully it’ll stay that way, since I’m fully vaxxed and boosted.
