but with less enthusiasm for zoom calls.
Our annual HOA meeting was last night, and five minutes in I wanted to murder everyone who is not past "Wait, I think she's on mute. Are you on mute, Judy?" "Sorry, I was on mute!" "Just click Slide Show. On the top. No, over to the right."
Anyway, good news is that despite the covid exposure last week, I tested negative on Monday.
Yay negative!
as a person who doesn't want to write my self-evaluation I think I should just get a raise for having cute hair and not have to talk about it.
Let's normalize this. Although my hair is not cute lately - I haven't had a haircut since before COVID had a name and am just wearing a knit hat all the time at this point. It's a pretty cute hat.
And my pompom! (Or whatever the bobble on the top of the hat is called)
My sword is, btw, mostly for balancing on my head. Possibly on a hat.
Last Friday, I went to get my hair cut (the salon requires masks, hand sanitizer and minimal contact; the stylist and shampoo lady wear gloves). Before going to the salon, I had the woman at the dry cleaner's ask me what hair dye I use ... and I had to tell her it's just how my hair grows. Then, at the salon, the ladies admired my nail polish. So ... compliments!
I'm getting a bonus from the job ... mostly because I've been coming in to the office, keeping it going, depositing all the checks and sending invoices (as scanned PDFs) to the appropriate people, taking care of phone calls, etc. So, not a raise, but income is well under budget so I'm glad of it.
Timelies all!
Still waiting for Mr. S's test results. In a complete coincidence, I had scheduled a COVID test at work for today.(Since Jan.3 testing is by appointment only)
Yay compliments and bonus, Toddson!
