Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

This week has already been six days long

Yes, there is definitely some timey whimey stuff going on this week.

Our wings are not tired.

It is clearly the weekend. What the heck are you guys talking about?

Same, I want it to be the weekend already ugh. I super did not want to get up this morning and I don’t want to do the work I need to do…but I already took a sick day this week, so I need to get SOMETHING done!

I have made two onerous phone calls, and now I'm trying to do some clean up so that my inlaws won't be as horrified when they show up today.

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

I thought that yesterday was Thursday, so this week has me totally discombobulated.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I also had a sick day this week (Tuesday), but since the week was about 3 days long before I was sick, and I've definitely worked *at least* 3 days since, it MUST be the weekend by now.

Even though I don't know what day of the week it is, I'm getting those onerous tasks done: some work stuff, 2 loads of laundry, paid quarterly taxes, packaged up a sweater that was too big so I can return it to Lands End, and in about half an hour I'm going to actually go to the damn post office to mail said package to Lands End. Then a tiny walk, and then more work. I'm genuinely not even sure if the car will start, because we haven't used it in weeks. This will be very exciting.

Our wings are not tired.

I read Teppy’s post and now I need a nap.

I made breakfast and lunch for myself and did some work stuff.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I feel like I've put in a couple of day's worth of work since complaining this morning. And yet I am still waiting for the price exception report that was supposed to be out at noon. Is it actually past noon? I am not sure at this point.

The car did start, hooray, but it needs coolant (which I didn't realize until I got back home, or else I would have put coolant in it before I drove it, yikes). This is the 2000 Echo, which has faithfully transported me (and then us) since 2004. It may be time to get a car that's newer than 22 years old (the Corolla is a 2013, which is already pushing 10 years and just hit 100,000 miles). I really wanted to wait out the car shortage, because it seems like it should improve by summer. Will have to ponder this.
