Our wings are not tired.

Is it an option to start taking 4 day weeks on a permanent basis? Like every Friday off? The last couple years I really have gotten used to not going out.

In scrumptious food news, pumpkin swordfish is apparently running right now in local waters and it is so good. Swordfish is a favorite anyway but the pumpkin aspect has to do with their shrimp diet or something and it makes it almost buttery. Baked it and Brussels sprouts in an avocado oil and key lime juice sauce. Heavenly.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I wonder if all the action-heavy shows Mr. S watches are affecting his behavior. Sometimes it's hard to tell how much of his wild behavior is the ADHD/ODD, and how much is the Netflix.

Ive never heard of pumpkin swordfish but I’d sure give it a try!

The Botox was in and done in like 5 minutes (and $700). Supposedly it takes a couple weeks to really kick in so we shall see. I also went and bought an Oculus headset because my sister said hers is awesome And I am so bored these days. And my parents gave me a check for Christmas so…

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Sheryl, fwiw, my kids have a tendency to be wilder and harder to manage the more screen time they have. We had to cut back, especially on the weekends, and I really think it has made a difference in their behavior.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That sounds so good upon some Googling.

Fingers crossed, meara.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Try adding applesauce as part of the liquid in the oatmeal pucks. H used to make breakfast oatmeal cookies with craisins and broken walnuts and applesauce. They each weighed a ton, but one was a hearty and sufficient breakfast.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

AGREED

I woke up this morning with my knees hurting from, as best I can tell, sleeping with my legs straight. So I’ve got that going for me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

This week has already been six days long

Yes, there is definitely some timey whimey stuff going on this week.
