I've been feeling a little bad for my cat lately. She only comes to see me in the living room, never my room. But the stomach issues I've been having lately have led to me spending way more time in my room so she's been on her own quite a bit. Poor neurotic kitty.

Honestly, I like it with my coffee, as long as I can remember it isn't one of those super-extra-sugary chocolate no-bake cookies, because they look so damn similar.

Even though Mr. S watches the most inane stuff on Netflix, at least I'm finally getting my money's worth from my subscription. (I will ignore the disks that Gary and I have had out for years

ltc too, and I think she is picking up a bad attitude from several of them. Or she just gets that from me. Hard to tell.

I’ve made several onerous phone calls today, most of which have gotten me nowhere. My brain is short circuiting between decisions that have no right answers and house repairs that have suddenly become issues. I need to clean out the freezer before picking up ltc at school, but I don’t want to adult anymore.

Adulting is terrible, we all deserve breaks from it.

There has been no breaks lately. Going to the grocery store was my break, I guess.

Boo for no breaks. I know they are hard to come by, but still. Boo.

Second meeting today that has been cancelled as I was waiting for it to start. Irritating.

ETA not cancelled, just booted me out the first time I tried to join. Also irritating, but in a different way

I drove for the first time in over 2 weeks today! Sheesh. The nurse called me for the 2 week checkup and she was awesome with compassion and anticipating my concerns. Even cut me off to say she was writing a script right then as it was super common and expected. They have been amazing with follow-up calls and just being very responsive when I leave a message. In these days of medical staff being in super stress mode, it is really appreciated. I expressed my impatience with being unable to do what I expect and she made it clear that even though I don't see anything outside it was major surgery and my body has serious healing shit going on for 6 weeks. So big baby mode for a while.
