Sometimes I type 4 when I mean f. Because it starts with an f? I think? It's weirdly hard to correct one whatever neuron misfire happens. Like my fingers have their own mischievous autocorrect imp. Migraine~begone~ma
I am into season 2 of Ted Lasso, already pleased that I have a short wait for season 3, and figuring that it's good prep for actually writing my self-eval that I am still procrastinating on. Right?
I am trying to dye my hair periwinkle but am a bit worried that the roots (like 2” of them) were a little too yellow despite toner and will be sort of green? Fingers crossed. The ends should look nice at least. Maybe I can cover the roots with another color/darker color?
Obviously I am doing this instead of writing the “leadership text” I’m supposed to be writing about the various times when I embodied my company’s values….

I remember in elementary school trying to spell "of" and getting stuck on "uv" for way too long. And this was after I'd been an avid reader for many years.

I can't tell you how often I type a 3 for lower-case "e." I feel like it might make a bit more sense if it was in place of capital "E," but no, it's for the lower-case. I think my fingers are typing with zero input from my brain.
FWIW, Discovery+ has 4 years of "The Repair Shop". I think it's actually about 5 years but that's what the season drop-down says.
Personally, I can't handle TV drama at the moment. I need feel-good shows.
I remember when typewriters were going out and computers/word processers were coming in. SO many people who'd used a lower-case "l" for "1" as well as an upper-case "O" for "0" couldn't understand why things didn't work. I remember people being told that with the new technology each character counts as itself - no substitutions allowed.
3 and e are right next to each other on the keyboard. And they rhyme, which when spelling something in my head might make a difference. And I still have l33tspeak in my head as an almost legitimate way to spell. So, yeah, 3 for e happens.
For a while there 0 had a slash through it so I could easily tell it from O and I appreciated the assistance.

...now I have to ask myself if I want to sign up for a 7-day free trial and binge-watch all of "The Repair Shop" that wasn't available on Netflix when Netflix still had it.

I learned to type on a manual typewriter that didn't have dedicated "1" or "0" keys so I learned with that substitution. At the same time I had a computer at home and was teaching myself basic programming, so I had to get my brain to switch back and forth on typing.
I also got into the habit of putting a slash across my "0" when writing by hand, but I eventually stopped doing that. I do, however, still slash my "7" when writing long hand.
