Willow: Yes. Hi. You must be Angel's handsome, yet androgynous, son. Connor: It's Connor. Willow: And the sneer's genetic. Who knew?

Thrive to spite them

My nephew is very happy because he was supposed to start back to school yesterday and instead they have snow days.

It's been nice because we get to play more Minecraft together. I have been trying to figure out what his Xmas present should be since my first idea isn't going to work. I finally asked him did he want something he could hold and look at and use or did he want a rank on the server we are playing on. He didn't hesitate "rank . But not the most expensive one I'm not expecting that".

You make a donation and get a rank on the server so a title and extra benefits I didn't want to do it immediately but I will.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I've seen trailers for that, but so far they just make me want to re-watch Romancing the Stone instead.

It does seem to have the same feel ... but Daniel Radcliffe playing the villain? two hunks for visual enjoyment?

edited to correct actor's name

Punishingly Intricate

We've been able to get home tests regularly and quickly through ro.com and Amazon, fwiw.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

We just got some delivered today from Amazon.

I maybe should get tested, but the lines at the in-person sites are really long - several blocks with social distancing. And every drug store in town has signs up that say they don't have tests.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If the FDA approved it but the CDC hasn't recommended it, does that mean that Walgreens and clinics and such aren't offering it to 12- to 15-year-olds yet?

It means we can't make an appointment online yet because the cutoff in their system is still set at 16 y.o. The systems just have to catch up.

I was able to score a test, behind a long line of people who were also aware that they get restocked on Tuesdays.

I will probably order some more through amazon etc.

Getting hamstrung by red tape is so damn annoying.
