My Uncle Paul died of Covid today. His wife is still sick with it, but she seems to be doing better. He was the nicest man with 5 kids and lots of grandchildren who adored him.

My Mom's father absolutely hated his middle name, to the point I don't know what it actually was. He declared his middle name was just a Y, and began pitting "Y (only)" on forms that asked for a middle name.

He was an honorary uncle but I spent a lot of time in that home as a child. I feel so bad for his kids and grandkids.
