Wow, that is soon, Laura. Hope it all goes smoothly!
Possibly I did not add enough to the coffee, or should have also added cream and sufar, or some other variable I haven't thought of. It wasn't bad, just not the substitute for the much lamented Gingerbread Latte that Starbucks isn't offering this year, which is what I was really hoping for if I'm being honest.
I missed the whole Pam cat butter thing.
And now I feel like it's too late.
Here's a place to start on it [link]
All the ancillary byproducts are really making me happy, but the original story is pretty delightful
Thanks, -t!! I saw a pic of Pam from the Office holding up cards with a sweet potato and a cat yesterday and dismissed it as something I could never catch up with.
Ftr, my old ginger boys were both sweet and pretty dumb.
The orange cats I've had were not particularly smart, but also not particularly dumb. Both female, so idk if they even count towards the dataset. All the tortoiseshells I've known were smart and apt to look out for their buddies, fwtw
My mom's orange longhair isn't dumb, and is definitely not sweet. Though I have found that with cats sweet and dumb tend to go hand-in-hand (my own Molly being a good example).
Newsflash: I have tried TJ’s Gingerbread Cream Liqueur over ice and in hot (decaf) coffee and am surprised to find I prefer it over ice
A more complete dataset would involve trying it over ice cream.
So, now I have to devote some of my morning to falling down the Pam cat butter hole, because better late than never, right?
eta: I read the link -t kindly provided above, My day just improved dramatically despite the tears and the possibility that I scared my cats with the snorts. Thankfully I was not sipping my coffee at the time.
Oh, man, thanks for that link, -t. That was a delightful wake-up story.
I will carefully consider the ice cream follow up investigation, Laura
I feel like I should point out that I first came across Jean and Jory’s due to Fay, so it’s all Circle of Buffistas. Or something.
