msbelle! How terrible!
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Oh -I just got LBDed on Instagram So BEWARE! It was in somebody’s story.
Yikes, msbelle. I thought having to block a couple hundred twitter users in a day was bad, but that’s a huge amount. Your poor brother.
My grandson is 1 today. I am trying to keep myself very busy and distracted so I don't end up curled up in a corner. I have a lot on my plate at least. Have to go pick up the rental truck for DH to use while his truck gets repaired. Have house showing at 10 this morning. Coordinating surgery, which is scheduled on Brendon's birthday (the 28th). His first comment was, I have games that day! So my one of his siblings or mother will have to pick me up, which is fine.
Of course after all my house prep Mulder had issues which left dots of poop all over the place. Sigh. He seems to be okay this morning.
Sending love your way especially today, Laura.
Folks, think hard about denying people health care (and making them pay full freight *is* denying people health care -- don't fool yourselves about that) because there are plenty of lawmakers who think addicts, obese, smokers, etc., should all be denied care, too. Do I think they are fools for not being vaccinated? Hell yes. Do I hate what they are doing? Hell yes. But I am not going to deny them what I believe is a human right.
Laura, I'm sorry for what will be a difficult day.
Msbelle that is just....horrible and believable considering the issues Ravelry and the pussy hats.
Laura much love to you.
I went back to the walk in and talked to thr NP. I was frustrated but tried to just stick with what was going on.
So he had to be reminded why I was there but then the remembered me. Anyway I told him what was going on and that I had struggled with trying to work and get in touch with Corvel
He was surprised I hadn't gotten an appointment with a neurologist so I guess he was vague in his limitations thinking I'd see a neurologist who would be more specific. I don't know.
I mentioned needing to wear sunglasses and he said I didn't have that issue before. I just looker at him my mask and sunglasses hiding my "are you sitting me" face. I told him. I was wearing sunglasses when you same last time. I told you about my eye problems. I said I am OK not wearing them at the house but at work with all the lights and scanners it gets to be too much.
So at some point he just stops and says. I'm going to change this to your out of work until you see a neurologist.
I thanked him a lot. I told him this has been frustrating.
I also had a dizzy spell while I was there .
The HR lead is going to be in this morning so I'm going to see her in person amd explain this.
It's good to hear that you found a doctor who listened, askye. Do you have the neuro scheduled?
But I am not going to deny them what I believe is a human right.
Yes, I agree completely. I think a lot of it is just us venting frustration at the fools who have made this virus so much worse than it should have been. Corporate entities have been giving discounts on healthcare costs to non-smokers and that kind of a thing for a while. Of course the only real answer is universal health care because our system is not only unfair, but incredibly frustrating for everyone.
I'm going to change this to your out of work until you see a neurologist.Am I the only person thinking this should have been Step 1? ::hands Askye a fruity beverage of her choice::
