"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, I'll go with that one. I sadly haven't seen my nephew in several years now, and realize I don't really know what teenage boys like anymore.

I like the idea of the second link, but the graphic design is off for me. Plus, in my mind, it's a bit fanciful, which a teenaged boy might not like. I would go with the first one.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh dear ... some British MP (I think he is ... a politician of some ilk) has declared that the reason the crime rate in Britain is going up is Jodie Whittaker being Dr Who. He is, of course, being soundly mocked.

Art Crawl!!!

As he should be.

Meanwhile: I had my regular 6 month check up with my internist & I really have lost 20 lbs! Although: my cholesterol has gone up. Confusing: I thought losing weight was good for your cholesterol.

Also: I hear that paid leave for COVID-19 infections will no longer be available for unvaccinated Kroger employees.

May other grocery stores follow suit.

Some places - Singapore - have declared that they will not pay for hospitalization for anyone who hasn't been vaccinated; some US places are thinking about it.

Well yes, that is appropriate.

Cholesterol can fluctuate for a whole lot of reasons. Who knows.

Yes, I think it is an excellent plan to not cover people who refuse to vaccinate.

It is, although any change in your diet that allowed you to lose weight may have raised your cholesterol. Happened to a friend of mine, she tried some new diet to address her diabetes. She lost weight, but the new diet (some Atkins like thing) caused her cholesterol to go up.

Thrive to spite them

Well fuck this. I got an email back saying yes I had been approved to go back to the walk in place but since I had been cleared to work if my store was accommodating my restrictions any absences wouldn't be excused. And 4o go backt to the walk in qith my concerns while they try to find a neurologist that takes workers comp

I got super pissy and didn't even bother with per my previous email and went straight to I don't have specific limits except figure it out for myself. I missed work because that strategy got me a migraine . I contacted you about getting approval to go back so I could get specific restrictions AND to talk to them about my concerns you ass. What else was I supposed to do? Only slightly nicer

I did talk to the lawyer and hiring him is a Big Deal that could make issues for me so I am going to give this another shot at the walk in and then go from there.
