Our wings are not tired.

I slept through the board being down, but send along my thanks to Tom for making it all better.

Last and worst pre-operative test this morning. Ick. Since the doc understands that I am the biggest wimp on the planet he prescribed 1 valium for me to take prior to the test. I was amused to find the pharmacy put it in a bottle that would hold 500 or more. So here's hoping for the surgery to be scheduled like next week. Most people would not want to be down during the holidays, but for me it is my quietest work time of year so it works for me. Also, not really awful stuff. Outpatient and chilling for a couple weeks. Today for the ick details, urodynamic testing which means filling the bladder and all manner of abuse. Then the surgery stuff involves putting the fallen parts back where they belong and stitching and doing stuff to keep them there. Fun times, but really looking forward to being fixed. I recommend not having big babies as it can mess you up!

Thrive to spite them

I hope you have a quick recovery Laura. Lots and lots of ~calm your way. If you are looking for some bladder friendly gentle foods while you recuperate from all the testing check out thr Intersistal Cystisis website they have lists of food that are soothing for inflamed bladders.

Actually if anyone is looking for an extreme low acid meal ideas I suggest there after following that for years I don't have acid reflux anymore after dealing with it all the time.

Thrive to spite them

I'm going back to work today at 11. 11-8. Going to be long but I talked to my manager and she said theyd find something for me to do . Even if it was unpacking things from the truck or doing go backs. And to let someone know of it was too much or I need a break.

I should have paid attention to how long it takes me to get drowsy after I take the medicine for dizziness. Today will also be the first day in over a week I haven't slept for at least 2 hours during the day. (I was mostly sleeping out of boredom).

Oh boy, askye. Don't push yourself too much.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

My onerous medical tasks today are my annual OB/GYN checkup and a Covid booster. Maybe some hot chocolate afterward as a reward.

I was awake for two hours in the middle of the night. Do not appreciate.

Good luck with surgery Laura!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I got my new migraine infusion yesterday, which is about on par with the auto-injection it's replacing, and way less painful than Botox. That was my onerousing.

I doubt you have any questions that you or your doctor can't answer, but feel free to ask me anything.
