ah ... my first world problems - I have a working oven, but last night I knocked a plastic insulated cup down behind it. I can't possibly move the oven and can't reach the cup and I'm afraid that the cup will melt (or worse, catch fire) if I use the oven while it's back there. I'm going to see if I can use something to move the cup to where I CAN pull it out.
At my last visit to the dentist, it turned out that one of my teeth had a badly cracked (old) filling with decay starting underneath. This means I need a(nother) crown. Went Monday afternoon and, while the procedure was medically successful, the dentist had to drill away under the gum. There was a lot of blood and I do have a temporary crown on. However, my gum was so cut up that I'm off solid food for the time being. And I'm getting hungry (yogurt, cottage cheese, protein shakes just aren't cutting it) and have all these cravings for food I can't chew. I'm hoping I'll be able to eat soft solid food by the weekend, but I'm not sure if it'll be possible.
And at work, they've been renovating our rest rooms. Since August 16 (yes, more than two months). So in order to pee, I have to take the elevator up one floor (which requires using the security fob to get off my floor), use a key to get into the rest room, then use the fob again to get back to my floor and once more to get into the office. They SAID the rest rooms were ready to be used, but when I went to use it, the door was propped open and there was a workman in there. So, it's back to the up and down every time I need to pee.
yeah, very much first world problems
