Last night I took a Benadryl and had some fairly restful sleep -- noticing that I haven't had the urge to take any Tylenol today so far! But I'm a severl-times-per-night waker these days, and usually see the sunrise even when I have nowhere to go or be.
It's nice to be rested. I should try it more often.
Vortex is that for L? I don't know who her other bridesmaids are but it sounds right to me!
That sounds awesome, Vortex! If it's a bridesmaid thing, I'm afraid color trumps font.
I always feel like the latest possible time for getting up can be pushed back a little bit.
I have my radio as the alarm and I generally get up for it. I don't use snooze, but there's an alarm on my phone, which is next to the radio, set for half an hour later, the latest time I can get up and get everything done before leaving for work. So some mornings I slap the radio quiet and settle down for a nice half hour's sleep.
Vortex is that for L?
Yes! It's just me and J for dress shopping, so only we get prezzies. Bad Wolf for me, Caffinate for J, and Nevertheless for L. Yes, it's extra, but have you met me?
Timelies all!
Gary's alarm is just a buzz. On the occasion that I need it(Gary's away, I have to get up earlier than usual)my alarm is the local classic rock station. I always get up when the alarm goes off since my brain won't let me ignore it.
That sounds brilliant, Vortex.
I'm very glad I picked this apartment complex. Yes, the fixtures are out of date, but they maintain the shit out of this place. The first summer I was here, they resurfaced the parking lot. The next summer, they replaced the roofs on all the buildings. This summer they're painting the exteriors. This past winter, they resurfaced the swimming pool (which I've never used, because it's always packed with kids). If I put a call in for something, it's dealt with. There are quarterly inspections for leaks (and for a glance around the place, I'm sure, but I don't have anything out that I won't admit to). Rent increases have been reasonable, and I'm happy to be here.
I hear that, Connie. My old apartment complex was on top of plowing the lot and shoveling the sidewalks when it snowed, which I sorely miss.
When there's a snowstorm here, the parking lot's plowed before I leave for work. When I thank the guys doing the work, though, they look embarrassed. I keep thinking of making cookies to leave for them in the office, but I don't know if that's weird.
