When there's a snowstorm here, the parking lot's plowed before I leave for work. When I thank the guys doing the work, though, they look embarrassed. I keep thinking of making cookies to leave for them in the office, but I don't know if that's weird.

I swear to dog, I went MONTHS with no hot flashes and I've now been having them for about a week and they are getting longer and more intense. I SWEAR ON THESE TIRED ASS OVARIES I WILL CUT A BITCH IF THEY DO NOT STOP SOON. I am past due for an appt with my PCP, so I guess I add this to the list.

I just went through my mail-in ballot choices, and I was sorely tempted to dismiss one of the candidates because in her picture she's wearing a horrible teal pleated-rayon dress with a neckbow that was giving me traumatic flashbacks. Then I read her write-up, and she's actually one of the more sensible ones. Still, her fashion sense makes me cringe. #shallowvoter
