A good reason to use Firefox.

[link]

It affects Chromium as well which means all Chromium-based browsers like Opera, Vivaldi, and Brave.

Hey. New board.

> Arrived to find out that OF COURSE our luggage didn't make the connecting flight.

A lot of credit cards will give you some money in this situation if you bought the ticket on the card, for essentials while you wait. Worth looking into especially if it takes longer than tonight.

How is it only 1:15 pm? I feel like I've gotten a lot done and I'm ready to go home.

Hey. New board.

Brave

Brave has ad blocking built in at a level below extensions; that is essentially their whole model. It should still work I think.

I've been using Brave for a while and quite like it. Only have to whip out Chrome on like 1 out of 100 sites when JavaScript does something weird.

I don't know Brave very well, but if they aren't using that API for their ad-blocking, then it sure seems like their ad-blocking wouldn't be affected.

Kinda makes me want to give Pi-Hole a try.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Sounds like a stressful start to your trip, Dana. At least Italy seems like a promising place to find a new pair of shoes if you want a second pair.

That present is amazeballs, Gud!

I'm feeling much closer to well today. There's a chance of thunderstorms this evening, which may blow away any remaining cobwebs.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm using Brave now, so far so good. Have only started so haven't really played around much.

Good to hear, Calli. I'm about to go outside and do some raindancing myself. Pool is too warm and we need rain very badly. Pool is at 90, which means I work up a seat swimming, which ain't right. A bit of a chance in the next few days, but calling on the weather gods seems to be the best bet right now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love to make a plan for all the work I'm going to do on Friday afternoons to prepare for the week ahead, but got damn, I'm exhausted and can't think about anything right now!

brillig

In the words of Rocket, 'Oh Yeah'.

That looks like an ideal weapon to use on snowmen, come winter. Bilbo's Sting is the perfect weight and length to use on those wintery menaces, so you can do fancy combo strokes. Of course, nothing can beat a two-handed bastard sword for satisfying decapitations and cleavings--and upsetting the neighbors.
