Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds nice, Laura!

I haven't done shit yet today. Maybe I'm going to go shoe shopping later? Also I should grocery shop.

Yay Laura, that sounds nice!!

I went on a date last night but not sure, felt like it went well but am letting the ball be in her court. Today, I went to the French bakery and overate because I wanted quiche AND a croissant.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I just napped for 2½ hours. I am SO behind on my binge-watching today.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've been trying for a g-d hour to set up my new printer and it will not work. Grrr.

I finally figured out what was wrong with my DVR around Killing Eve -- I don't get BBCA! So I can see/record the first airing, on AMC, but that's it. This is a problem because I didn't realize the season had started, so missed the first two. I just watched the first one online, but I guess the second is lost to me forever. Unless I want to pay for it, I guess, which I don't.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh no, Jesse! Also, I have forgotten to watch any of the new season, I better get on that. But first, I think Ant-man and the Wasp. Speaking of, it wrong that every time I think to myself "maybe I'll watch Ant-man and the Wasp" tonight I end up singing it to Pinky and the Brain?

IOW, right there with you, Scola. How did I get a month behind on B99? Inexplicable.

Good day. Kind of productive! I weed whacked and pruned a tiny bit of my front yard and expect good weather tomorrow to finish up, toured Sustainable Solano food forests with my mom and got good ideas for plants that might do well in my yard and make me happy to have growing, had a lovely poblano enchilada for lunch, and visited an herb farm but did not buy anything as I am not ready to plant right now and I know they are having another event in a month. An overwhelming selection, I'm going to have to have a list of exactly what I am looking for before I go next.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Killing Eve is worth paying for, IMO. But you could also wait for the second season to roll onto Netflix after it's over.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Just a little wind-down time before bed. (Commuting to Malice means I get up at 6:30 because the first panels are at 9.)

I don't want to talk about the backlog on our DVR.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Today's self-care looked like spending $200 on new clothes for me (even though I had planned to spend no money on new clothes this year). This was brought on by having a wedding to attend and going up a size with all my stress eating the last few months.

2 dresses, 3 skirts was the haul. 1 of the skirts is a twirly silver sequin skirt. I love it so much and plan to wear it to the wedding weekend with a black t-shirt and my pink pony's. SO FUN.

Today's self-torture was everything it took to find the 5 pieces I bought. I know lots of you on here appreciate being difficult to shop for. I typically have not been wrt dresses and skirts. The bottom half of my body is a F'in nightmare wrt to pants of any kind, but otherwise I have generally been a fairly typical hourglass figure and can find a-line or full skirted things to work, or go up a size and find sheaths if they are darted or fitted a bit in the middle.

My shape now is just not, my shoulders are still small framed and I think my top half is about a size smaller than my bottom half according to women fashion of the moment sizes (skirts and tops will be my way to go forward). Which is all to say, things were ROUGH in the fitting room. I laughed OUT LOUD more than once at how awful some things fit. I tried on 41 items to find the 5 I bought. No lie. I did not pass up anything that fit due to price. I did pass up one that fit due to coloring being AWFUL on me, but the rest, the rest were all fit issues. It was also over 3 hours in one store.

What store did you go to, msbelle? I just dropped some $$ at Sephora since it's sale weekend. Will order a few more things online probably. Always thinking the next lipstick or foundation will magically make me love my face? Though my eyelash extensions are really making me shockingly happy. Mascara was never my jam but these are awesome and make me feel pretty even without other makeup
