Wow, msbelle. I love the sound of that skirt! I'm sorry the whole experience was unfun. Bah.
Yay for feeling pretty, meara!
I am trying so hard not to buy more clothes. I have SO much, and honestly most of my clothes I really love although I keep changing sizes and a lot of it I just can't wear to work so I am trying to be super practical and have, like, a capsule work wardrobe? Which I thought I was all set for as if a month or so ago and was ready for a full on moratorium on clothes-buying but then we had a mini heatwave and I realized I needed some lighter weight work clothes, too. It's a struggle.
Things are really bad at home. I'm trying to keep my shit together.
I love buying clothes and I hate trying them on. Nothing at all seems meant for a woman with big boobs, big butt, and a round belly, but still having definition at the waist. Apparently I'm meant to be wearing only muumuus.
Allyson, may things get stable again soon.
Oh no, Allyson. I'm sorry to hear that. Keeping it together ~ma.
meara - I went to a Dillards clearance store.
Allyson at home in Boston or at home in LA?
I'm so sorry, Allyson. From what I have gathered you must feel so helpless and frustrated. Sending much ~ma for things to resolve in a positive direction.
I'm sorry, Allyson. Tons of ~ma.
Good thoughts from here, too. I had a passenger who was talking about her foster daughter, who is now with her on an informal basis, because the "real mom" is involved with an excon who resents the time she'd be spending with her bright and joyful 9yo. Its heartbreaking to think someone would choose that, but it's clear it's the best for the kiddo, and that's why you do it.
