Ugh, I'm mad that agreed to co-chair a church committee, and now my co-chair has taken on something else and is backing off. I didn't want to be in charge of this thing! Especially not all alone! I don't even go to church!!!
We have a meeting tomorrow.
Er, Jesse. That's what you get for when they call for volunteers, and everybody else is quick enough to take a step backward.
Spare Cat exceeded herself in spare-cat-ness this morning by not merely falling off the side of the bed, but somehow doing so that she ended up wrapped up in the part of the blanket like a cat burrito. A complaining cat burrito, who seemed equally ungrateful to be freed.
I needed to get up any way.
Man, I love cats when they are ridiculous.
Spare Cat is really committed to the "I meant to do that" aspect of the catly arts! Also Complaining Cat Burrito would be a good band name
I am at work. Still not ready for my call in an hour. Yay.
what everyone's said, msbelle - this is so hard and you are still trying. All the love.
msbelle, what everyone else said. I can't imagine what you're feeling but you're an incredible mother who has been selfless from everything i have seen. I hope Mac comes around, and soon.
I'm sorry about the really rough situation with Mac, msbelle. May he be cluesticked soon.
Timelies all!
Spare Cat's misadventure reminds me of the time Nova tried to jump onto the dining room table, but landed her front paws on a pile of newspapers. The look on her face as she sloooowly slid off was priceless.
I once, somehow, managed to roll off the bed and got myself wedged in between the bed and the wall. There really wasn't enough space for me to just stand up, so I had to wriggle around until I could. NOT a good way to start the day.
Just finished a Facebook chat with my sister, who's in the airport in Salt Lake on a layover. A friend who is on a trans-Atlantic cruise has been sending me pictures. The future is an amazing place.
