Yes, I was listening to the spokesperson for the cathedral just now and he said all 3 rose windows were spared (it was the 19th century windows that blew) and that the organ did not burn but likely had water damage. They seem to still be somewhat worried about the stability and structural integrity of the towers, but I suppose that is to be expected.

I'm glad to hear that the windows of Notre Dame are all right (I don't know French, but I understood enough of Dana's post to get the basic info). I'm glad that whatever they saved is saved. It does sound like it was an accident ... whenever I hear of something historic being destroyed on purpose, it makes me sick. Accidents, while upsetting aren't quite as bad as if someone had set the fire on purpose.
