I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can buy rolling papers at any gas station or convenience store, Theo. Otherwise ISTR there being some sort of turn-an-apple-into-a-pipe trick. I have my doubts about how easy or effective that would actually be, but it might be entertaining to try.

Because books.

It's pretty easy to use an apple. I bet you can Google it, too.

Our wings are not tired.

Ah, Mac. I'm sorry msbelle. This too shall pass.

We use banana leaves to roll joints! Probably not a lot of banana trees in Boston though.

Trinity is a delight. Will be 2 in July so like whoa with energy. Took her for a couple walks and exhausted now so I hope she settles down soon.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm glad he finally responded, msbelle. For both of your sakes, I hope this phase is brief.

Ugh msbelle. Good luck with that kiddo. Yikes.

Had a date today. Not going to go anywhere but man it would've been so convenient, she lives like a block away! I mean, not that I matched with her because of that but it would've been awfully convenient.

I was just talking with Jacqueline yesterday about how much proximity matters and how people don't value it properly and just move away. Then they get lonely and isolated. Being physically near to people you care about is huge.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Being physically near to people you care about is huge.

It really is. My best friends live in different states; it's an eight-hour drive between me and Gretchen, and a cross-country flight to Katie. My friends in the area are a 30-40 minute drive, which still feels like a lot, especially driving home after dark on twisty country roads. I don't get lonely much, really, but it would be very good to have friends within 5-10 minutes to hang out with, without having to make plans well in advance. Not sure how many adults actually get to have that, in our society, anymore.
