That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe it is naive of me, but I am shocked that this happened in New Zealand.

Yeah, would rather talk about sheets, for sure. I guess if you only have one set of sheets you never ever have to fold a fitted sheet.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Health~ma to Zoe.

I read about the New Zealand shooting. One of the people at the mosque was interviewed, and he said that if New Zealand isn't safe, then he doesn't know where they can go. It's heartbreaking.

I have two sets of sheets in regular rotation (cotton), one heavy cotton flannel set that's a bit much for NC's idea of winter, and some t-shirt material sets that I need to Kondo because I haven't used them in years. The regular ones are getting pretty old. I think one set belonged to my parents, and neither of them has been alive for the past 10 years. Probably time for some new sheets.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In other first world problems, I ate breakfast too early today and now I'm hungry even though it's only 11am.

Tim and I don't really argue much, because we are both SUPER conflict-avoidant and think any disagreement means the other one is going to file for divorce (that's not really an exaggeration; we both have Issues). But he's also, in general, the world's most agreeable human being, so we rarely have points of conflict.

However, an ongoing argument around Stately Beckmeyer Manor is "No, YOU Are Making the Bed Wrong!" After 13 years, it's kind of comical.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

If you have to news today, I suggest you seek out news on the student marches.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I am also in the "more than one set of sheets means you don't have to do laundry to make the bed (or wait for laundry to be finished to be able to make the bed)" camp. Except that I only have one set of flannel sheets, and we've been cold enough (for us), that I've been committed to staying in the flannel. I also have one modal, one bamboo, one microfiber, and one t-shirt material. I may start a support group with msbelle. Except I don't have a problem with my "problem".

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am sickened by the news from NZ this morning. I would much rather talk about sheets.

Same!

I had in my head all morning that I was having lunch with my boss today, but no -- it's next Friday.

I'm so sorry Laura. That's always so hard.

Our wings are not tired.

I need more sheets. In theory I like having a variety of options.

Today is actually my day to wash the sheets that are in the hamper and then change the sheets. I love Clean Sheets Friday!

I also think I'm going to ignore the news and binge watch Shrill on Hulu.
