Of all the days I could have spent offline and then noticed my CEO trending in the news...yesterday was a WEIRD ONE.
Natter 76: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Foaminess
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I have a 25 minute (each way) commute, and podcasts are wonderful for that. I enjoy The Magnus Archives, Be the Serpent (fanfic and traditionally published book discussions, occasional NC-17ish discussions of robot boners), Plantrama (gardening), and The Hidden Almanac (written by and occasionally guest starting Ursula Vernon [T. Kingfisher]).
I started spiking a fever last night, after I saw my doctor. TCG's stepmom took ltc to school. So I am catching up on emails, Grey's Anatomy, and newspapers.
Health~ma, sj. I hope the day's rest helps.
Yes, Calli I am likely to listen a lot more when I am up north for the summer because everything is at least a 20 minute drive, usually more. At home my trips are either super close, or through traffic which demands full attention. I consider myself a competent multi-tasker, but not with driving in big city traffic. Summer driving is rolly mountain hills.

Oh indeed there is more to that story!
Amy -- I -- what? I agree with Laura, more to that story!
Y'all, I have been in meetings all day, and the time I did have in my office to eat lunch turned into two more mini-meetings! I'm excited that I get to go tour a construction site shortly.
But I'm also amused that multiple people have commented on my jeans when it is not Casual Friday! It's because I have to wear long pants for the tour, and I literally don't have work pants.
In a webinar for online education innovation. It's actually one of the better webinars I've been in lately as they actually want us to participate instead of just listening to speakers. I may not spend the entire time surreptitiously scrolling through twitter.
