"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I started spiking a fever last night, after I saw my doctor. TCG's stepmom took ltc to school. So I am catching up on emails, Grey's Anatomy, and newspapers.

Our wings are not tired.

Health~ma, sj. I hope the day's rest helps.

Yes, Calli I am likely to listen a lot more when I am up north for the summer because everything is at least a 20 minute drive, usually more. At home my trips are either super close, or through traffic which demands full attention. I consider myself a competent multi-tasker, but not with driving in big city traffic. Summer driving is rolly mountain hills.

Because books.

From today's Publisher's Weekly, this seems like an interesting tidbit:

The American Media attorney Jon Fine whose email to Jeff Bezos was disclosed yesterday is the same Jon Fine who worked for Bezos at Amazon for seven years, serving as director of author and publisher relations before leaving the company at the end of 2014.

Amy -- I -- what? I agree with Laura, more to that story!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Y'all, I have been in meetings all day, and the time I did have in my office to eat lunch turned into two more mini-meetings! I'm excited that I get to go tour a construction site shortly.

But I'm also amused that multiple people have commented on my jeans when it is not Casual Friday! It's because I have to wear long pants for the tour, and I literally don't have work pants.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

In a webinar for online education innovation. It's actually one of the better webinars I've been in lately as they actually want us to participate instead of just listening to speakers. I may not spend the entire time surreptitiously scrolling through twitter.

Six more hours till vacation! And it's a day when major parts of our program are failing for no apparent reason.

The standard libraries for nearly every programming language have a function to make this happen.
