'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Amy -- I -- what? I agree with Laura, more to that story!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Y'all, I have been in meetings all day, and the time I did have in my office to eat lunch turned into two more mini-meetings! I'm excited that I get to go tour a construction site shortly.

But I'm also amused that multiple people have commented on my jeans when it is not Casual Friday! It's because I have to wear long pants for the tour, and I literally don't have work pants.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

In a webinar for online education innovation. It's actually one of the better webinars I've been in lately as they actually want us to participate instead of just listening to speakers. I may not spend the entire time surreptitiously scrolling through twitter.

Six more hours till vacation! And it's a day when major parts of our program are failing for no apparent reason.

The standard libraries for nearly every programming language have a function to make this happen.

No offense, Gud, but our developers need slugged. Unfortunately, I keep getting scolded for suggesting a monthly lottery to allow a tech support person to go hit a random developer.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The nominations for the Agatha awards came out at the beginning of this month. I put as many of the ones I hadn't read on hold either from the local library or from one of the libraries in other parts of MD. Tomorrow I go to pick up 9 books that are waiting for me.

I took a driving break today and went into an Amazon Books store, which actually did have a bunch of neat stuff on display.

I took great pleasure out of whipping out my phone, calling up my library app and reserving the books right there. Seems only fitting to do it to Amazon, you know?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Rebecca Gilman just complemented my shoes. ION, I recently learned that there is a marshmallow cafe near my home.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Theo, that is perfect! Good for you.
