Our wings are not tired.

The eclipse was awesome! I'm not going to say it was warm out, maybe mid 50s, but it wasn't so cold that I couldn't hang outside for about 15-20 minutes barefoot in my jammies. I expected to sleep through it, but the dog wakes me a couple times a night to go outside because of the stupid water pills she takes and she woke me 10 minutes before totality! She was very confused when I went outside too, and stayed outside.

Black coffee: Grocery delivery remains the best thing ever.

I have to see if Whole Foods takes back the insulated bags though because I have too many of them.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It was 10 degrees (2 with wind chill) at midnight so I saw about thirty seconds of the eclipse before running back inside. I've seen some really nice timelapse videos from folks with telescopes on tripods this morning though.

Yes, it was pretty and all with just the eyeballs, but the high quality telescopic photos are beautiful.

Feeling really down, but I've got two interviews today. Luckily, I think I'm pretty good at hiding it when I need to.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was in bed when I heard neighbors outside looking at the eclipse, but I didn't bother.

I have already done my big plan for the day -- all the shredding and filing. Phew! At some point I should go to the grocery store, but it's not that appealing, since it's four degrees out.

Interview~ma, Gud. You got this!

I am already exhausted. I culled DH's closet this morning. I think that's the right word, too tired to know or care! It started out with me not being able to get my fingers in there. First I took out any non-button down shirts to fold in drawers. So far I have a box of 30 shirts that either have paint/oil stains or holes, because really how many dirty work shirts does a person need? I have no idea how many t-shirts the man has, surely hundreds after 40 years of basketball. They don't need to be hung up.

After the culling I still have 62 button down shirts!!!! Plus slacks and so forth. I moved his suits elsewhere. So it is still crowded, but at least what is in there can be seen. Thankful we don't have things like jackets and sweaters and stuff.

I deserve major wifey gold stars now. No matter how tired he is after driving players home from the Jacksonville tournament tonight he is going to check out my efforts.

Gold stars, Laura!!

I've got an idea for the Pillsbury Bake-Off, so maybe I will go to the store and then make that as a trial. Even though it's totally off-cycle -- they are announcing winners now, so you enter in the summer, I think.
