The eclipse was earlier and warmer here, so I watched with friends from the local park where someone had arranged a "total eclipse of the heart" singalong.

Yesterday I tried "bottomless mimosas" at brunch and although I only had 2.5, I slept for about 3 hours after getting home!

Day off here. We got groceries earlier, and Gary has taken Mr. S to get some new clothes.(Including underwear. He's still not fully toilet trained, but I guess at school he uses the potty regularly. Plus, some of his classmates are wearing underwear now.)

Sometimes I do kind of imagine the Ken Burns style narration of this crisis...it helps for a little while. Gud, I wish you could give yourself a break.(even if there is an irony in my asking) I call every day, but even with an added Democrat, the Arizona Senate delegation is really still useless.
