Coding and Sleeping

I think mostly it's just a good market right now for experienced software developers. I think having worked for Motorola and Lowe's helps as well. Name recognition and all that.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My career aspirations continue to be paid muse. Sadly have not found the person that I can muse for.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

We are going to MarsCon, in Williamsburg. Never been to it before but it's making up for the fact that we can't go to Boskone this year(Gary has a work obligation on Presidents' Day weekend). Plus, Seanan McGuire and Cat Valente are guests.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds fun, Sheryl.

Also a shrug emoji

IJWTS, getting my excel to actually work 1 minute before it's time to leave is just stupid.

Our wings are not tired

My job aspiration is still working on continuing the hustle for more work.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My aspiration is to have a job aspiration.

Our wings are not tired.

My job aspiration is to be able to retire.

It is really wonderful that you have the skills and experience to have options, Gud.

I know Trump doesn't list it among his accomplishments, but somehow he's made Nancy Pelosi cool.

I just love how completely ill equipped he is to deal with her. I just wish that so many people weren't hurting because of his childish tantrums. I hope that the Rep Senators are hearing it from their constituents and push McConnell into doing his job. He has to see that Trump is going down, when will he wise up and jump ship?

hip deep in pie

Gud, that is impressive.

Hi, I just had dinner with my dad, brother, two sisters and BiL. This is because my dad found out monday he needed to come here for consultations tomorrow on getting the battery in his pacemaker replaced and I guess, another appt with a cardiologist that was just added today. And then my BiL developed a mysterious infection in his eye and lost his eyesight, so was sent here for emergency surgery today. Fortunately, it seems to have gone well and he's already regained some of his vision. It was nice to seem them, but do they have to be all medically dramatic about it?
