Gud, that is impressive.

Hi, I just had dinner with my dad, brother, two sisters and BiL. This is because my dad found out monday he needed to come here for consultations tomorrow on getting the battery in his pacemaker replaced and I guess, another appt with a cardiologist that was just added today. And then my BiL developed a mysterious infection in his eye and lost his eyesight, so was sent here for emergency surgery today. Fortunately, it seems to have gone well and he's already regained some of his vision. It was nice to seem them, but do they have to be all medically dramatic about it?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh my, Sue. A little less drama might be nice, yeah.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, maybe a normally planned visit next time??

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Does anyone like the new Slack logo?

My introduction included the description "swastika made of dicks" so that sort of colored things.

2.5 more hours of work tonight. I'm not hungry, but I want to snack. I'm trying not to. I also want to school someone on FB, but I can't find the articles that I know will back me up.

I'm once again waiting on insurance approval to get a MRI on my ankle. Here's hoping that the order coming from an Ortho instead of my regular doc makes a difference. This tendonitis thing is getting really old.

The status is NOT quo.

My introduction included the description "swastika made of dicks" so that sort of colored things.

...well yeah. Now that's all I can see, too!

My job aspiration is to still have my job at the end of this administration, since apparently Individual 1 thinks we should all be on the street.

In other news, this Buzzfeed article about I-1 telling Cohen to lie to Congress seems... interesting.

I am getting the whiskey out so I can read about this in the proper frame of mind...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How are you holding up, Consuela?

I was just thinking about how lucky I am that even when I didn't have any cash, I always had too much credit, so if I was confident I'd get paid eventually I could just take a cash advance on a credit card. Which is not great, but at least would keep the bills current.
