Jesse, I downloaded that Trivia game last night. Hopefully I did the referral code thing right.
Woot!
I have been having thoughts about all the other posts, too! But mostly all I can say right now is: wine and cheese and chocolate sounds nice.
Off to meet strangers who are already in my apartment...
I mostly kept quiet and then she said (about the others we had and Nike) "this is going to sound rude but there is no other way to say it , they are all made by the same little chinks".
You know, I think there are actually plenty of other ways to say that. Starting with using words that aren't horrible racist slurs. The more you know! (Ugh, askye. Sorry you had to deal with that.)
I was - years ago - in a store and a man (older, white) came in and refused to be waited on by an African American woman. The manager stepped up and said that she was the person free and it was her or no one. (He left, choosing no one.)
Timelies all!
Urgh. This sham of a FBI investigation pisses me off. I don't know why I thought it would be any different.
(It isn't even a yam sham.)
I'm sorry, askye. That's an awful situation.
I had to put myself on a news blackout today. Twitter was okay, but no reading articles.
I fear even yams could not help this sham.
Met the houseguests, and they have all gone out! So that's good. Starting tomorrow, I will also go out, but I'm trying to save up, and I have to work tomorrow.
Glad that's working out! Are these complete strangers or just internet ace murderers?
News blackout was a smart choice, Dana. I listened to maybe 10 minutes of radio coverage of this unholy mess and it was maybe too much. Although the Alaskan women who flew to DC to talk to Lisa (as they apparently refer to their Senator) was pretty cheery.
Complete strangers! They are in one of the other bands playing at the festival this weekend. They seem variously OK, pretty good, and like we might be friends. (There are three of them.)
