I'm sorry, askye. That's an awful situation.

I had to put myself on a news blackout today. Twitter was okay, but no reading articles.
I fear even yams could not help this sham.
Met the houseguests, and they have all gone out! So that's good. Starting tomorrow, I will also go out, but I'm trying to save up, and I have to work tomorrow.
Glad that's working out! Are these complete strangers or just internet ace murderers?
News blackout was a smart choice, Dana. I listened to maybe 10 minutes of radio coverage of this unholy mess and it was maybe too much. Although the Alaskan women who flew to DC to talk to Lisa (as they apparently refer to their Senator) was pretty cheery.
Complete strangers! They are in one of the other bands playing at the festival this weekend. They seem variously OK, pretty good, and like we might be friends. (There are three of them.)
Cool beans!
I see my previous typo/autocorrect and am kind of charmed by the thought of ace murderers. Like, their really good at it? Or something about tennis?
Murderers who can't be distracted by femme fatales or James Bond-wannabes.
So. I'm going through a work reorg, my desk is moving (unrelated to the reorg, so I'll have to move it again), and I've been on the cusp of cancelling or delaying my work trip to Ireland, although it looks like I'm going. All on top of my already Very High level of work stress and the country being a dumpster fire.
I almost forgot to print my itinerary so I could fill out the customs card on the plane, so I'm concerned I'm going to flake out and totally forget something important at home, like my eyeglasses or my passport. Although now that I think about it, I'll be wearing my eyeglasses on the plane, so I'm pretty sure I won't forget those.
Glasses, passport, medication, work computer, badge. Other than that, Dublin has stores. And I bet it has shortbread. I'm dreaming of British shortbread.
